      I don't think there is a set_shield console command. I think I remember a command to start/stop regen, but that was it. If there is a set_shield command, someone let me know, eh? It would be very useful for weapon testing in single player.

      I just went and double checked, it appears I was incorrect on one point. I thought that armor repair through a shop did a reboot countdown too, but it doesn't. So, yes, quite confusing verbiage.

      You don't reboot it through the normal means. It's an option in the shop menu if I remember right

      The need for salvage wasn't sitting completely well with me either. Perhaps being able to pull the resources from the core with your own core beam instead would be preferable (everyone has one by default after all)

      I'd even be ok with no cloud forming, but instead the loot bring tied to the overheated core. Hit it with a salvage beam to obtain the loot. This way, you don't need to create a new loot drop mechanic (namely, the navigation marker). It just makes sense that you would need salvage equipment...

      I had my mining fleet fail to respond, then ordered a change sector > idle > change sector (different sector) > mine and they flew back to the first sector and started up again. I deleted the fleet and re-fleeted them and the worked perfectly fine with a change sector > mine. My only guess is...

      You can always admin change yourself to the NPC faction to do the war starting, then change back...I think that should work

      Please point on the blueprint where the pirate touched you. Having fights against titan sized pirates with you and your friends in a smaller ship fleet would be epic. That's not going to happen without aux.

      I think it would be interesting to allow slaves on the jump drive. Say, slave Push for a longer jump, pull for a faster recharge, and stop to add some resistance to interdiction?

      Perhaps a total block count limit (not mass, as to not discriminateven against armor tanks) with a multiplier per entity. That way, you don't have insane, server killing drone swarms because that multiplier creeps up with each entity, nor do you have a noob cube with 500 turrets with turrets...

      I'm assuming [current armor HP left on the ship] is a percent expressed in decimal form? Or is it raw value so that it would absorb an alpha hit up front, then not resist as the armor wore down?

      I agree whole heartedly. Armor in its current form is only useful against missiles and beams (and only because they're bugged). The only modification I could think of is a large reduction in damage to the armor block in a late stage of the tank, but still able to be destroyed. Say standard...
