I do believe the OP said the inhibitors should get overdrive as well so that they can maintain parity with jump drives. I don't think what the OP has suggested would translate into warp gates being able to reach other galaxies in one go. That is a bit much, I think.

Yeah, I think this is a good idea. Either allow salvagers to pick up loot clouds, so we can have our ship's inventory fill up instead of ours, or just make it so that if a ship flies through a loot cloud, it fills up the ship's inventory first, and the astronaut's inventory second.
