It was supposed to be fixed one or two updates ago but the problem is still VERY apparent.
I also very much agree with you! I'd also add that the defensive stop effect should also negate the offensive stuck effect. Ever got frozen by indestructible enemy home base turrets? Yea, it sucks.
I agree on that point, it's just that most of the systems you suggested just wouldn't fit with the game or have been discussed to death already. I won't bother to explain since @Comr4de already did it better then I could.
Most of the time I'll make a frame on which I then throw on hull. From there I fill it up with extremely redundant layered systems (ok, I've only done that part once but it works extremely well).
To be honest, I haven't completed enough ships to have a standardized technique yet. It's mostly...
I don't want to take credit for that :p (As I didn't come up with it). Also keep in mind that by using fixed docks that the core doesn't have to be at the bottom of the turret, so you can stick it in the middle if you want :D
I have to say, that's a f*****g nice ship!!! Extremely impressive for an original ship! I really wish that we had more builders like you :D (not implying that there aren't any, but more wouldn't hurt)
@Targaryen Thanks :D
@Thalanor There will be two racks in the front section and maybe two more in the back. I actually use missiles on my drone atm (I luv muh missils) but will most likely also use repair drones once we can control them properly.
Precisely! Now I can just activate the entire launch sequence simply by switching to build mode and activating an activator (located in the core room most likely). The entire operation would take a max of 4 seconds. The other advantage is that all the push beams I need will be directly mounted...
Ok, so I modified my drone rack for use with a ship mounted activation and ejection system. While I haven't actually installed it inside the ship (or installed the systems on the ship for that matter) the rack works! It undocks the drones in sequence once a core gets in the activation zone...
