      temp was for temporary. I am used to it because of temp+tmp dirs in your directory structure... Maybe I should have written it out :) I think 3D is not required. Just an indication of in which angle to your ship's orientation the target is (the tangential line) 3D would just increase cpu load...

I think everything would have it's own problems, as long as we can not edit the amount of shield or fall-of of asymptotic formulas per server to fit our server style (YOLO ships which fire at each other for hours vs a sniper game with human-like...

      We already have drain beams, but I think what you want would be OP. Except this weapon requires more power than is drained from your target... Or that it can only hit not-covered energy (reactor+storage) blocks. It would be fun though to have an array-disabler weapon which sucks as much energy...

That means that you have to kill the enemy shield first - if you can do that, you would coredrill instantly rather than waste time aiming for a power block. Another problem is that some weapons...

      With new activator blocks, you can enable drain beams automatically. I have no idea how much they drain or how much of their efficiency is used by only 1 activation each 500ms though.

      Remember last, but they should also have names and fall-back cams. One get destroyed? Go to the slave camera. Don't switch into slaves by default (because that can get annoying with 100 cameras on capitals for example). Their names could be "Default", "Default-Front", "Default-Right" etc...
