      I don't know where the break is (save? build?), but a design saved from a ship that has displays or chest filtering setup will not build a ship with those configured. Logic links seem to work though.

      So, I can't get pirates to drop any loot unless I overheat them with a player triggered weapon or a weapon that is not in AI control. A logic based timer weapon ( heat seeking missiles) will let them drop loot, but an AI controlled cannon/cannon turret will not drop.

      There's always a chance of hitting something. I assume the "safest" ship is two structures separated by a large gap. The only way you'll get hit is if they are attacking from one of the two ship sides. If so, just turn 45 degrees!

      I just built a big rotating piece and I find that after the thing rotates about 45 degrees, it triggers the activation block next to the rotator, then it jumps to the nearest 90 degree angle and continues rotating. I can't get a smooth rotation...

      I think it's a valid point, but I just thought how the logic block should trigger high when movement starts and low when stopped. It just makes more sense to me. If you want to detect when a rail stops, put a not block to a button.
