I actually laughed at this, sorry.der_scheme let me explain: We're just here discussing the new feature (I don't give a fuck that buy with blocks was already possible, the UI is new and it makes a good difference) and possible enhancements to it, along with how nice it is. And then you barge in...
THIS!!!
The only complaints I've seen in this thread were against the constructive arguments made towards the new features. It's pretty apparent that the authors of most of these complaints didn't take the time to read because they argue different unrelated stuff...
So, we're basically not aloud to discuss things because we're not "official testers"? Had you actually read the thread you'd see that we actually welcome the feature, WHICH YOU'D KNOW IS PRETTY GAME CHANGING IF YOU ACTUALLY PLAYED THE GAME!!! See how I just assumed something that might be false...
He was talking about stuff like all the different colored armors, their variants and all other deco blocks. They might be easy to produce individually, but setting up a factory to produce all those 50 different deco blocks is insanely aggravating. Not because it's hard (it's easy), but because...
It's a bug, the radius of blue asteroid belts should have never been that big in the first place. I honestly don't know why it wasn't fixed yet, considering how critical and economy fraking this is...
aaah, what I was thinking was slightly different. Armor Hp offers 100% protection until it's depleted, at which point armor blocks can be destroyed. System hp doesn't share the same hp pool and is completely independent of armor. the only thing the system HP would do is decide when the ship...
t would be nice to have system HP AND armor hp as two seperate things. What I mean by that is that armor contributes to a different pool of HP. Until that HP pool is depleted then armor can not be destroyed. However, the armor HP pool only contributes towards armor, meaning that system blocks...
Eh?
Buying with blocks the way it is in the dev build is infinitely better than buying ships with credits only. We're just suggesting something to make it even better, not bashing it...
But that's not at all the point being made here....
Producing basic blocks is far easier than getting the credits for them. It's the boring extra 200 steps needed to make deco blocks that is the problem, hence why being able to selectively buy those with credits would be nice (with a high tax...
From what I've heard, larimar belts are big enough to clip outside of the system, at which point they just don't spawn (due to the clipping). I'll try teleporting around on my single player to see if I can find any (haven't seen a single one yet).
People, PEOPLE!!!
We don't give a f*ck about buy with credits not being a thing anymore. It's much easier to produce the blocks and spawn a ship with those than produce blocks, sell at shop and then buy a ship.
WHAT WE DO MIND is that all those pain in the ass to acquire decorative blocks will...
You get all the likes.
Being able to purchase the materials that aren't filled in the blueprint item (at a higher price) with credits would be a very good thing. It would also mean that people could still buy ships entirely with credits, but the price paid would be whatever percentage increase...
Buying ships with blocks has been fixed in the latest dev build. You basically get a BP item that you must fill in order to spawn the ship :D
(thanks to Ithirahad for the image)
This suggestion is now even MORE relevant.
