I actually suggested something for turret accuracy to be based on size difference between the turret and a target (because honestly, if a Cap manages to bring it's main guns on you while you're in a fighter then you're doing something horribly wrong). It might not be realistic but it could solve...
I really like the new blueprint item, a person can fill it up and sell it to an other. Problem is that the buyer can just save the blueprint after spawning it and getting in...
I can't thank you enough for this. I do have a crucial question though:
Has larimar asteroid belts not spawning been fixed?
Reason I'm asking is because shields crafting is impossible without hardcore planet mining due to the larimar asteroids containing the crucial certise ore...
Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this MrFURB . It shows that the average cost of certain stuff badly needs to be reduced.
The bug causing larimar belts to be non-existent is also insanely economy breaking (they have sertise, sertise is the mineral required to make shields), I honestly...
The light diffusion works super well with glass too. Have you tried that? With Crystal armor:
That was just a test, it looks a lot better with normal glass since there's a lot less visual glitches (and it looks more like a hologram).
It's a bit like optical fiber XD
So, the cap was per reactor group? Like, you could have multiple 1mil e/sec reactor groups on the same ship? WHAAAAAAAAAAT??? That would be amazing but so broken at the same time XD.
Also, I agree with you that the soft cap should be increased. Not too sure that I like your suggestion removal...
I'm pretty happy tbh, the likelihood of my computer dying from an 800k mass brick warping in has been severely diminished :D
Smaller ships are also a lot more fun to fly and fight with, not to mention the insane lag reduction ^_^. Hopefully we'll see more PvP, cause harvesting other ships is...
For that we'd need an AI fleet control system, which sadly hasn't been implemented yet. I really can't wait.
Just imagine an ender's games style battle in SM. How f*cking epic would that be?
Indeed, balancing is very important. I made a ship that has almost pretty perfect balancing using a super secret technique™ (no, it's not a brick, this works with any shape possible). Let's just say that I obliterated a fleet that had a combined mass of 3 or 4 times my own mass by using that...
which is exactly what the CR has been doing ^_^ (well, not enlisting but just generally helping out new factions and giving them miners or stuff like that)
guys.... I'll be able to outright spawn my titan in without needing to fill in any systems after purchase.
hue hue hue hue >: D
Edit: before anyone complains, keep in mind that it would still be a titanical investment (see what I did there?)
let me explain: We're just here discussing the new feature (I don't give a fuck that buy with blocks was already possible, the UI is new and it makes a good difference) and possible enhancements to it, along with how nice it is. And then you barge in telling us that we're bashing a useless...
