      turrets with beams or cannons?

      They both have the exact same damage output, it's the delivery that's different. Cannons are projectiles, meaning travel time (chance to miss). Beams have half the range of cannons and missiles but instant hit. Depends what you need, really.

      Lancake how about increasing the HP values instead? Those wouldn't exponentially affect ehp and can infinitely scaled without too many math problems.

      I thought that the exponential space friction problem had been fixed... Cause really, you should be able to reach max speed with 1:10 thrust/mass ratio. It just takes a lot longer (which is fine).

      Interesting, it means that drones can target things better too now :D With turret settings now being saved in BPs having AMS turrets on drones is now viable. I'll have to try it out.       nah, the loot is dropped when a mob entity dies. The bigger it is, the more loot is dropped.

      Vanhelzing Trust me, you're not going to teach Leanson how do do proper PvP ships. Besides, no matter how much you scale down weapons, having 6 layers of hardened hull with max pierce defensive effect isn't going to stop shots from anything bigger than an isanth. You'd only need more than 6k...

      I'm pretty sure that image he posted is a smedited asteroid model. Wouldn't it be amazing to have that ingame though? At least the last update has a chance to spawn bigger asteroids, which is nice. MrFURB you forgot that not all asteroids are larimar (for the shields) :p.

      Having planets contain an infinite amount of resources (that replenishes at a set rate) would actually go a LONG way towards more interaction between factions. Everyone and their mother would try to get their hands on that 7 planet star system in order to set up extractors.
