      The future of blueprints

This is roughly what I would like to have, as well as a way to do it with stations.

      Pickup rails, additional uses

That's extremely creative. I may have to attempt to build a concept stadium for this.

      Planned EXPLOSIONS

The forum loves hearing suggestions! This one definitely sounds fun but you should really check through the forum a bit more before posting. I've seen many of these come across and many of them have great arguments in them. SkylordLuke is maintaining a list of the most suggested topics here...

Any tips to make ai not go crazy with pickup rails.

I also believe you can turn off the pickup points with logic. Bench mentioned it briefly in his video. He mentioned it here:

      Recognized Station Upgrades

I think ultimately I would love to have optional upgrades as well. Like an upgrade that makes the turrets bigger, or increases the size of a shipyard. So in essence giving some form of progression. Thats what I meant by branching paths. These branching paths would give the AI some variability too.

      Recognized Station Upgrades

This suggestion may be related to this one. Read by Council - Station Module (a type of shipyard/core) I can't quite tell. Problem Statement: I'm building constantly in my own multiplayer server. I'm essentially building assets so I can upgrade rather quick while I setup a base and get...

      The ultimate drone R&D thread

Careful, right now you can't recall ships to a docked entity. The carrier has to be the flagship, and the pick up modules need to be on that.

Read by Council Too Many Artificial Numbers

Thruster speed directly affects in game stability. Due to how the physics will need to time step to determine collisions and other effects. 2.5 is reasonable to me. There will likely be artificial numbers, but I'm not responding to the others as I have no good explanation.
