You're welcome. The argument presented above applies to any company that develops games, the pressures are almost exactly the same. And players often make the same statement, "Devs should stop making new X until these major bugs/gameplay issues are fixed."
You can do things that many people...
As an aside, WryRai said in a recent Drakkart video that the minimum salvager/cannon array for constant salvaging was about 25:17(or 18) salvager modules to cannon modules.
Sometimes the best thing is to hook it up to a clock and just wiggle the ship every so often. :P
The thing is, artists aren't necessarily coders and coders aren't necessarily artists. By releasing stuff in a regular cycle, Schine keeps the interest in the game up while they work on the harder bits (usually): the code.
Artists can create new blocks without interfering with the coders, and...
Something else people can try: be creative in another art form. Try writing a short story, or painting or drawing.
I recently volunteered to DM a Dungeons and Dragons game, and in writing out stuff for that game, I've had a newfound urge to build in Starmade.
Something else I'd add: play with some Lego. Sure, StarMade is all about blocks, but Lego lets you feel the shapes. It's more visceral, and probably evokes childhood memories in people as well. Nostalgia is a powerful force, and my muse often responds well to it.
Also! Something I've watched...

It would do far more good for people to actually pay attention. And to conveniently place turrets where they can shoot the sides of your ship, allowing you to scrape little phages off. :P
I like that extendable turret. :) I am thinking of making ones that are fastened to the ship under its armor, and then flips over to be used in combat.
