I understand your frustration. However, as people are free to type what they want (within the rules anyways), you are also free to not read it.
And I agree, we're now all just talking past each other.
He appears to believe that the heat mechanic and power revamp will be word for word what Schema wrote in the announcement post. He can't see past that to the point where the heat mechanic can actually be implemented well enough to be useful and improve the game.
It is the testing in dev build that's the most important part. They may want to increase the time in their dev cycle a bit, but it's us, the players who need to step up if we are serious when we say we love this game.
I'm having the same issue, I build a ship and log off, and when I log back on, parts of the ships are missing, reverted back to a previuos build state.
1 million people playing for an hour is 114 years of game time. For a more reasonable population, 10k people playing for an hour adds 1.14 years of game time.
We, the players, are going to find far more bugs and issues than the Schine team will in several months of testing.

I was having strange ship problems today too. I'd log off and log back on, and parts of my ship disappeared. Ended up undocking everything and rebuilding the troublesome piece.
