I would quite enjoy some form of scout frigate from Vecordean, anyone else?

I have built two corvettes, one colony ship, a small science frigate (okay, its classed as a dreadnought according to FURB), a few assorted bombers and fighters, a frigate, two escape pods, and a bunch of experimental scout ships.

I must say, that is awesome. @ Nikola Tesla: I should think there would be a small dock on each half circle, for turrets or escape pods.

What is happening is this: the pirates were wearing dowm your shields without you noticing. Shield regen doesnt work like it used to, try a smallish ship with exactly 256 shield blocks to get max recovery from shield system.

It can be helpful, and quit complaining about minor issues and making alternate accounts to make it look like other people care.
