my first raid was when i constructed a 50 block bomber that was inspired by the starry from babylon5 i attacked the closest station nearly died spawned in another one did no damage then a fleet of trading guild isanths attacked the station which distracted the turrets while i got a torch beam...
Is it just me or does anyone else think it would be better if this didn't exist cause I was away from the dock for a month and I have 90 new threads that I need to just see if they're worth it but this makes it all about 20 message spaces longer and it's not required since all of them say that
this is a true sandbox i have a choice whether i want to play it like an rts f*ck around do weapon testing build ships and stations or maybe i just want to join vaygyr and take pride in forcing people to rage quit
anyone angry at the fact that larger ships can cover their systems while small ships can't i will tell you it makes sense imagine a 1x1x1 cube it has a surface area of 6 imagine its a 4x4x4 cube it has a surface area of 6x4x4 = 96 and a volume of 4x4x4 = 64 now you look at the ratios 1x1x1 cube...
i think the current system is good it allows for more freedom if you wanna make an rp factory you can but the thing its gonna effect the most is gonna be PvPers they will have to rework all theyre stations and make them hyper efficient and in the end us builders/RPers are gonna suffer the...
cool i like the idea but for now not very useful
now on a serious and irrelevant note
should i make an account called Vaygyr lover to observe the patterns of the strange living organisms
what about special pirate ships claim a core with the blue transparent docky thingy (cant be bothered to remember the name) to make a titan dock to the core and then you just type in the command and voila you have a free titan
so the other day i was building the heart of gold and i thought oh man i want to save my ship just in case and so i did but i realised my blueprints were getting crowded with crafts called heart of gold initial commit, heart of gold commit 2, heart of gold commit 10, boromir class battleship...
well even though it sounds cool it removes some freedom from the game if you want to make it decorative sure but having a lot of entities like that would be tedious ill make a compromise and say maybe you could attach an entity with several parallel rails but then it could be to hard to take...
so i have seen a lot of suggestions to do this so ill make this quick
i have seen a really good standard cargo pod design employed by the star squadron guys
so currently what we have is a very annoying system of crafting different hull shapes but what i suggest is that instead of crafting them all is you just build normally but instead of crafting wedges, heats and others you just craft the block and then colour it so when you place down a wedge...
the problem with "cloaked pokers" is they do minimal damage with torpedoes warheads do only tiny amounts of damage and barely poke through the exterior it is more efficient to just bring a battleship if you want to destroy a station what warheads are good for is boarding crafts which blow...
i sorta agree i recently built a ship that can fire a nuke CLOAKED!!!! and so then how do you deal with that because the ship has a large battery and so it fires it and the power goes down but no power failure to decloak the ship
