      From my understanding, a hit to the stabalizor stream results in full power loss for a period of time. This however makes the system extremly binary, and without anyway to properly armour our ships (Armour is of little use) the first player to hit their opponents stream a few times shuts down...

      +1 I would suspect many of us don't boot up the game for much but seeing if updates are any good, and then go spend their time elsewhere. Beyound making cool hulls theres pretty much 0 to do with the new update, other than hope it becomes less abrasive and limiting.

      Some great ideas here! Using a Chamber system on weapons *could* be an effective way to replace effects or even slaves as well. It would certiantly cut down on the number of block types required, and make refitting weapon systems 1000x easier.

      From what I know switching reactors is like re-booting mid fight. Pretty much a death sentence. At least the devs are awear of the game being very Alpha orientated atm (from our disscusions on discord), so hopefully that will show in the next few updates.

      I would suggest having a bumch of Medkit blocks by your core as well in case the sun starts trying to kill you. As others have suggested, covering your ship with Planet terrian (e.g dirt, rock) provides a useful buffer to keep your ship safe (for a time)

      From what lancake told us, it was intended for the Cloak chamber to have an in-built jammer. However that is buuged atm, and will likely be fixed next patch. Thus you can get Jamming for low cost, or get full cloaking for more usage (which also includes jamming as cloaking is useless without it)
