we could make a lag on weapon systems when firing the EMP gun, so as to not nerf the entire shields system, also, most of my ships have no hull, so its GREAT that no1 uses the power drain beam or I would die in a heart beat.

I\'ve only used the select target a couple of times (ussually I prefer to use turrets for defence and weigh down the main ship with about 70 heavy lasers, and anywhere from 100-300 strong missile batteries) and when I do they shoot the wrong directions, or don\'t work at all, letting pirates...

Why not make shields stay (more or less) the same, and make hulls so they have a shared health IF they are touching other hull, so in a sense one could easily have 3-5 layers of thick hull, with 2-3 layer (seperated by something like power tanks or somtin). It would be a bit more realistic, or...

I believe a scout is just a pilot that has good manuverability so that they can run ahead of the main force, check the enemy, then run back and advance with the rest to fight with them, already are a pilot =)

I think I am going to open a NGE shipyard forum. If thats cool with you. I\'ve finished a turret/interceptor multiclass ship recently, it has enough speed and firepower to flank larger capital class and small fighter ships fairly easily. I tested it against 3 of the UNC Condor and UNC MAMMOTH...
