You can activate them like an activation module, but also like them it's not a constant signal, logic sends packets on each change, so if it stays the same and then is destroyed it won't detect it, hence you need the ping loop.

Yeah they essentially mirror each other like connecting two activation modules together. Given some logic you could even have a timer for each match and use the relays to add scores together automatically.

You could use a logic loop-ping system like my damage indicators vid + wireless logic + giant "health" scoreboard for the current battle to see the hits on a robot. Hmmmm that has me thinking.

You will have both options, whether to dock on contact or to dock via a docking beam from the rail docker. It makes sense to keep both.
