I am not entirely against power 2.0, but the problem with that patch is that in it's quest to discourage death cubes, it now makes crosses the best shape. Stabilizers inherently favor one shape over all other shapes, and that's a problem.
So I have been playing on Aetherion for several months. A couple weeks ago, I started on wolfpack clan. I had a lot of trouble gathering recourses because of stabilizers and reactor groupings. My miner couldn't be very big because of that. Is it just me, or are fresh stats harder now. My other...
Good point, but if you remember back to The Phantom Menace, the gungans had a shield bubble in the battle against the droids. This is the example JW608 always uses. So bubble shields have been in star wars for a long time.
All these people are treating starmade as a realistic game and taking it way too seriously. You can't make ships out of cubes. Doesn't matter if bubble shields work in real life. It worked in star wars, and it can work now.
My smallish miner has maybe 20, but it fleet mined fine a couple months ago. When I tried to fleet mine last week, they just spun around. I think it is an issue with power 2.0. The miner is old power.
Oh yeah they mine. And the salvage and storage are connected. I'm not gonna share a blueprint, but they used to fleet mine just fine and now they don't. They just sit still or spin like idiots until i tell them to idle.
I think those NPC battles are simulations. The problem with your suggestion is that those fleets would have to load a bunch of stuff in, which would suck up all your RAM. It would also be lag heaven on multiplayer servers. So unless they figure a way around this, I don't think that would really...
I was fleet mining with multiple ships, and my ships doggedly refused to mine. Their inventories were not full, and i don't know what the problem is. Could someone help?
