The Stag Beetle MkXIII is a reeingineered version of a patrol shuttle that had been in service a few decades ago. The Terran Federal Council arranged a competition to find the best design for a new line of VIP-transport-ships.
A subsidary of Eisenstar Fleetsystems could get their's accepted...
So the new template saves will be sperated from .sment-files? Is there already a section to upload them? I haven't quite understood how to import and use them in build mode
Isn't she a beauty? :D
I had this crazy idea that I might get the hull done to apply for the ships trailer... but apparently there's a lot of other stuff to do since my studies seem to begin in no time at all .

No big changes. Just some details added and...
Wow thanks jzimmerman4 and keptick :D! I guess I will take your advice at heart and wait with the internals of the ship until I know that I don'thave to rebuild it entirely after the next patch...
In my defense ... The boxy shape is my conception of the most menacing kind of ship, which I...
Now that the hull is around 95% done (except for that nasty dome on the underside) I'm starting to add power, shields and turrets on that bad boy. I've only added some minor details and the tanks on the back section. The inner layout with shields and power may take ssome time since the interior...
The Dove is Eisenstar's most successful dropship chassis.
It's role is to deliver up to 6 passengers to a planet's surface and to withstand most enemy fire.
It is armed with a powerful high caliber cannon that delivers explosive rounds at a moderate rate of fire.
It's acceleration is moderate...
Thanks a lot :) ! Those greeblings took alot of time. I thought since the overall shape is a bit boring I needed to "spice it up" a little :D.
For those steel frames... Now that you mentioned it it looks somewhat broken but they actually don't support the hulls. they were thought to hold down...
Unfortunately the Forums Team had to reset all forum entries to june 11th. That's why I'm putting this up here again...
Anyways: the hull design has been reworked and I added some details.
I'm not sure about the white plex lights yet but at least they're better than ice crystals.

Thanks for your comment Rumcajz :).
Here's a little update on the hull remake.
Some of the tiles and plates are supposed stick out farhter than others and I'll add some more stuff like vents on them and maybe coloration, too.
Thanks a lot for your replies!
MineCatFTW Thanks. putting tose little bars, vents and boxes all over the hull takes some time- nice to see that it turned out to be worth it :D.
Zeno9141 You're right! I think for the sake of my nerves I won't widen the middle section but your idea with the armor...
In this thread I want to introduce my WIP capital ship Pollux [currently named Berlin because I like how the letters on the hull turned out and don't want to rip them off]
The design is rather simple but I'm trying to stuff a ton of details on the hull and inside.
For now I'm not sure about the...
Totally aggree with you there! I don't want to interrupt your discussion about whether or not this update ruins the game experience of "Shotgun-of-Doom-ship-builders", but Would anyone be so kind to tell me if there is currently a way to adjust the power of shields in the config files?
Well...seems like we're about to see some serious epicness when he's done building.
2000m is really one hell of a caiber. I once tried to build a 2000m-ship, too but it turns out I'll merely hit 1.5km when I'm done.

Although aging, the Sovereign class fulfills it's role in combat perfectly and has proven to be Eisenstar's most durable and efficient vessels of it's size. What the ships lack in complex and advanced onboard electronics they make up in sheer firepower and serviceability.
The overall...
