      Construction Beam Tech

This sounds like what is planned in the next (few) update with shipyards (Will have to wait and see exactly how that turns out, but it's in the pipeline) https://trello.com/b/9Kg5Jn6g/starmade-roadmap

      Crafting Tutorial

There is, on the pause menu, there's a tutorial which runs through ship building and weapons, crafting, and mining

Read by Schine Long range drones

The way I see it, AI being able to automatically target and warp to things well out of normal detection range is a bit too much power for automation. Patrolling drones is a pretty good idea, requires player input, can be avoided if you pay attention to where they're encountered (can scan from...

      New Bobby AI setting: Asteroid

Well, the advantage of having this suggestion implemented over what you can do currently is that you'd be able to have drone swarms mine for you, not just turrets on your own ship (Although this would be hard to implement currently, as a drone swarm would go out and mine, but it'd be hard to...

      Rail docked entity orientation detection.

Ideas as to how you might do so Does something being hit by a beam cause an indication? I.e. detecting that the power supply beam is hitting valid block if this works, then that would be easy to set up as a routine check. Doors open, and beam is now hitting/block is being hit, confirm movement...

      Rail docked entity orientation detection.

It's hard to detect things through lag, because by definition, lag stuffs up processes that should work.

      Quick question on logic

A defensive push effect on a ship will move that ship fowards, this can be activated repetitively with logic, thus creating an automatic "Thrust" Not from an external ship to guide it along, all self-contained

      Rail docked entity orientation detection.

An entity which docks to a rail-basic will always orientate the same way, same with the initial docking of the rotor blocks. They orientate to make the docker's arrow point the same way as the arrows on the rail or rotator. From the initial docking it will maintain orientation unless it hits a...

Fastest and smallest clock you can build?

Smallest clock I could think of would be button -> delay -> back to the button. that should pulse on and off, not sure about how it might be the fastest as it takes 0.5s pulses, but it's the smallest I could think of

      Ship stuck in star

Just so that this thread can be a reference for similar problems later, is it possible to get the ship out without using commands? Things that are coming to mind are pull/push beams (may not work if the star is capable of being struck by these), or making an extremely long ship with the core on...

      Questions from a new player

You can dislocate one barrel, so only have one AI, but it controls two barrels (this is mainly for looks, as it will use both barrels to target the same target). This is due to the fact that things "Attached" to the ship don't actually have to be connected with blocks in the middle. Put them...

      Timed pulses with flip-flops

well, that'd be 8 blocks in total instead of the 14 to do purely with delays, so it still saves space, it's just more efficient on saving space for 2^x numbers. For this instance, that'd result in 4 blocks to get to 4s (Delay-Delay-Flip-Flip (or Delay-Flip-Flip-Flip)), and then another 6 delays...

      Convoluted

Is it possible to have a fifth and sixth above and below the rail block too? (I know for a picture that wouldn't work out so well..)
