If anybody else is having the credentials invalid error I just fixed mine by going to registry.star-made.org and reset my password. Then I went to the uplink section before you join a game and entered in my username along with the new password and now the error is gone. Hope it helps :)

I am also having the same problem. One day I go to my PC to play some starmade and that exact same error showed up. I tried reseting passwords and also linked my account to steam but I am still seeing this error every time I try to join a server.
