I got a little bored and decided I wanted to make a really tiny model of the ship. I'll probably end up putting it inside the actual ship somewhere because I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Also if anyone asks for it early this is what they'll get instead lol. (on top of the bridge for...
As far as lore goes, I know on the bottom "prong" we'll call it, it launches huge missiles out of it which I think would be neat to make logic torpedoes launch from there. The top is where the MAC resides and I really like the idea for the waffle pattern weapon firing one volley which we'll just...
Not that its really time for it yet, but does anyone have ideas on what I should use as the MAC weapon? was thinking a Hulk missiles but I honestly don't know...
Yeah, I saw recently that someone had made a saber and put it on the dock for download. It's a pretty well done saber too and I was curious how it would fit in the hangars. I just have it and the pelican I made sitting down there in case I need them or for measurements.
I figured that I could share a picture of the arms that i've been working on. was a little ambitious about trying to get the hangars built and in retrospect I probably should have started with something else... if things don't seem to fit though its easy enough to trim or add blocks.

Nope- I have no idea. I'm attempting to make it as canon as I can so maneuverability and speed will be a large portion of the systems. and it will obviously have point defense systems too, but those are one of the "video game-isms" where they exist but don't exist if you know what I mean so that...
Sorry that it's been a few days. I had some family in town and some stuff to take care of at work so my time to work on the ship was pretty limited to maybe an hour a day. Didn't get much done but I did finish the ventral portion of the ship so I think i'd officially call the hull 50% complete...
Oh honestly I was mostly referring to the numeric value that Starmade puts on it lol. I was asking because I was just generally surprised by how much this one has so far since it's not even close to finished yet.
I usually make the armor several layers thick in locations that I think are key...
Finally finished up the armor plating around the engine nacelles... These took a long time to finish and I'm absolutely hoping that they were the hardest part of the ship. I spent roughly 18 hours between the two finishing them both up. Here they are with a few different angles. ;)
Also out...

And the addition of the beginning of the engine pods. Took a surprising amount of work but I think it was the size of them which was what took such a long time. Next will be the actual thrusters (I love engines so that will be fun) and then the armor plates.
