      Can we scrap enhancers already?

I learned that recently. Still doesn't change the fact that docking as we know it is extremely clumsy.

      Small Status update

Correct. The particle system will be for the (customizable) new weapon VFX.

      Space Duck... err Space Dock

The difference is that, regardless of timescales, it takes no effort whatsoever to get energy. You have to obtain credits somehow, even if it can be cheaty/illegitimate/easy as heck. As far as energy, you just have to amass huge amounts of energy blocks and place them, then, boom, infinite...

      Can we scrap enhancers already?

How about scrapping this entire ridiculous docking system and add docking clamps? The current docking style can be used for ship-building spacedocks, maybe, but for actually docking a ship to a station, you shouldn't be limited by boxdims. If you have a U-shaped ship that you want to connect to...

      Bug Dev: Broken Logic

How powerful was your salvage beam? Try a MASSIVE one and see if it works... Either way, I suspect that it won't actually salvage (just destroy, or cause an error) due to there being no inventory "linked to the ship."

Tiny Suggestion for the New logic system

They have a new pair of textures; orange for on and blue for off. It looks really cool. :3

      Space Duck... err Space Dock

You'll have to build another dock, or expand your current one. (Personally, I'd do the former normally) There's no limit on how many you can fit on one entity, besides of course sector borders.

I disagree unless energy starts to require fuel... and fuel is the last thing I want in the game. Have it take credits and/or (depending on server settings, one or both) materials.

New Systems/ Weapons/ Blocks that do things (non-hull)

Diminishing damage returns (but linear power drain) on larger arrays solves this, if you balance its effectiveness to be at its maximum on cruisers and cruiser/carriers of reasonable size. That said, the entire notion of a "capital ship" is flawed due to bad economy; current "Capital Ships" are...

      Burst Fire Block

Fire photon torpedoes! Full spread! ...Now if only we could get seeker missiles to target if fired that way.

      Differently coloured Plexdoors.

It's barely even a priority thing... It's just a tiny patch, essentially, once Omni does the art for the colored doors. Though I've never used it, from what I understand the block editor could put these in.

      Differently coloured Plexdoors.

This, and PlexDoor wedges and corners. Why haven't these things been implemented a long time ago?

New Systems/ Weapons/ Blocks that do things (non-hull)

That's kind of easy. Make the shots work like turret shots. If they hit your own ship (Besides the beam emitter blocks themselves) the beam just stops.

      Space Duck... err Space Dock

*facepalm* I just said... with spacedocks, economy is somewhat secondary. Primarily, it looks a lot better to have a ship built at a station than poofed out of nowhere. It would also give enemy raids on well-defended starbases a good target, if the spacedock equipment is as expensive as it...

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Have a second helm computer if you want a second control point... Personally, I'd put a secondary command setup in my core room; just the basics, helm and weapons. ...And have the player sit on the bottom face of the block, so they're inside it? That would work.

      Space Duck... err Space Dock

Having to build power generation doesn't necessarily help the economy that much, but it certainly makes sense that you can't just magically appoof gigantic starships... I suppose that the timegating does help the economy a bit too, but that's secondary. The price of spacedock enhancers (And...

      Cant wait for next update.

The words of the Orks need not apply to a game like this. You can build fairly large ships without going overboard. (The example that comes to mind is Cirdan's Absolution.)

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

The bridge should always be armored. That's the one thing I always hated about Star Trek. The bridges were always sitting right on gravity-top of the ship (or in front, in the case of the Klingons). If you want a Star Trek-style bridge for a command room, you're gonna have to face the...

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Hey, another simplification: Instead of having a complicated linking system with computers and chairs and stuff, what if: A player sitting in a chair (and only sitting in a chair) could activate a computer within their reach. They would still see from their from-chair (from-player-head) view...

New Systems/ Weapons/ Blocks that do things (non-hull)

I "mess around" with weapons, but usually resort to using smaller ships with forward AMCs, because I hate the look that having tons of turrets gives a ship. His suggestion (or mine, I guess) provides an alternative, which would look cool on extremely futuristic ships, as well as for an awesome...
