      I agree. Thing is, we haven't really gotten to the point of adding to existing systems yet; it seems Schine is still filling things in and adding new systems mostly. Weapons, of course, got a major patch a while ago, but even in their current state they're kind of a framework to extend later...

      Turrets mess with the balance between large ships and small ships (They negate the turnrate difference that would otherwise stop large ships from hitting smaller ships usually) so some balances have been put in place... If you don't like it you can change the configuration for your singleplayer...

As I see it, Schema can just add a hotkey or advanced building button, where you click it, right click the start position, right click the end position, and it makes a diagonal line for you, easy as that.       No, they would not be a fool, stylistically different ships demand different types of engines. But the thing is, the problem he speaks of is already nonexistent since all people would have to do is make sure there was something directly behind their blocks of thrusters.

      Yeah... Contrary to its name, the Trello does not seem to be a roadmap, just a partial list of features to be implemented whenever... An actual roadmap would show things by priority or by planed release order.

      There is already a mechanic in place to fix this... Currently thrusters will not render a plume if a block is adjacent to their rear face.

      Warp grenades sound hilarious, terrifying, brilliant, and stupid all at once. In any case, in a block game with finite resources it's generally a bad idea.

      ...Oh. That makes more sense, but then they will probably not be used much. Despite the HP update making armor meaningful, in practice individual blocks tend to die a lot still, even if they DO soak up more damage...

      A ship would need to be linked to a design for this to work, leading to essentially having two versions of a ship in memory, the completed (blueprint/design) ship and the "real" ship. IDK how well this would work.

      Overpowered. Who needs weapons when you can just fly up to someone with Overdrive effect, punch in a jump, and kill someone's ship, taking a bunch of blocks with you?

      Quad body, six smaller, longer space whale fins along its sides. Swims around in asteroid fields. Is really cheap to make, seeing as it is a combination of existing geometry. Looks cool. The Turtlebug. Make it happen. :P
