I... what? You specifically said that it's free in your last post, then Zeno proved you wrong. And then you responded with this.
I legitimately don't understand what you're trying to say.
Yea, someone was talking about using point defense turret plates since those get shot down the most in combat. I think that it was @azeriah. It's a pretty good idea imo, since replacing PD turrets is a gigantic pain.
Comments like this are incredibly helpful for motivation. I'd like to say more but I've never been very good at responding to positive comments like this one, even if it really means a lot to me. I'll just keep it simple; Thank you :')
There's also the fact that 90% of the projectiles go to the right (which is pathetic). Having a well distributed pattern until random patterns are integrated would be nice.
Yes, shield foam best foam! Also keep in mind that you can't see the two prongs, so there's even more space xD.
Kinda why I could make such massive rooms. There wasn't really any restrictions space wise.
UPDATE #25: Gravity tube network.
That's the central hub, grav tubes going to every room meet up there. A player only has to press the proper button and the rim of the proper tube will light up. Like this:

I wanted to make a suggestion that is essentially the opposite of what you're suggesting. The smaller a turret is compared to the main ship the more shields it gets from the mother-ship. That way mega turrets wouldn't have any protection from the main ship but the tiny point defense turrets...
You had cloaks? Cause jammers won't keep turrets from killing you :P. Unless you meant a player locking on? If that's the case then you'd have plenty of time to recloak/jam.
It'll only show other players and decloak/de-jam ships. It's nice in theory but there's no cooldown on the cloak/jammer, so a person can reactivate them instantly.
"Deep core mining should gather resources at a slower rate than active asteroid mining. Think of it as a slow and constant trickle of resources while asteroid mining is like opening a floodgate for short amounts of time."
Added this to the OP. Kinda what I meant from the start, so it's added...
First mistake I noticed is saying that missiles do 1/2 the damage of cannons or beams. Not true (on default config). All weapons have 5 damage per second per block (I tested it 2 minutes ago).
Slaves only change how the damage is distributed over time. The only exception to this is...
