Rail corners already allow to turn an entity, so you could have setup that acts somewhat like the wedges would. I agree that it'd be a REALLY nice feature to have though, since even with corners having something slide at 45 degrees is more like stairs.

I detailed the front and back due to annoyance at the lack of detail and feedback I got from the Chat stating that I should "ADD MOAR DETAIL!" (thanks for the feedback btw). Honestly though, it's something I wanted to do for a while but just didn't know how to it...
A super low polygon cuvier head would probably be better, I agree. Think Snake's head in the first Metal gear solid (ok, not as curved as that but you get the point).
So I decided to get off my ass and do a detailing pass. The medium turrets were temporarily removed so that I can see what I'm doing.

I really like the style of the fighter. As for the RA, well... the level of detail is just astounding. Especially since it doesn't look overly busy, you get points for that :P
I'd just like to mention that the drones on my titan are just a little extra for fun, it's not a dedicated carrier. So making something that can carry as many drones really wouldn't be too bad.
