Why, exactly? My faction has never had any trouble from all of us living in a single HB. Why would that be any different for a ship that can move?

Motherships have no place in the future of the game. The current "everyone lives in a single HB in a single claimed system" garbage is going to go away, and since motherships are essentially a mobile version of that, they will be worthless.

Personally, I'd rather have gas giants produce fuel that lets you go past the power softcap, with regular planets producing materials. Beyond that, though, I love this suggestion.

Stations need a massive buff. I think a 10x boost to most stats would be reasonable for something that is completely immobile and relies on turrets for its defenses (effectively giving it a 5x buff to shields, since turrets will be vulnerable at that point). Do you seriously think the game is...

Yes, that's what I'm arguing right now- until there is a decent counter to warhead torpedoes, they are griefing, because there's no way for AI to deal with them. For example- cloakers cannot be used with normal weapons to grief a station, because there are multiple counters in place- a timer...

There's a lot more than just pecs on the torso to move arms, but yes.

Setting a turret to "any" makes it target any random nearby hostile. It would still require you to be hostile to neutral, which would mean the normal base defense turrets would shoot up anyone who wasn't in a faction or was in a neutral faction to you.

My only complaint is that, realistically, a 4 armed person would have two pairs of arm muscles on the torso.
