Just wondering if there was something funky going on with the site's chat PMs. I don't see to get any notifications from it at all unless it is popped out, which I don't like to do because it adds an extra window I have to shuffle through.

Might be better to go with png format support, since star-made uses those already. Only concern I would have for this is people uploading porn or other undesirables onto a server to be used as a flag.

Remove servers? Servers are started up by players who want to host a server, Schine has no control over that at all. Each server has a little something that makes them different (timezones, location, rulleset, config), which is good cause this is a sandbox which welcomes all kinds of playstyles...

Not to nitpick, but I think the proper forum you want is Shipyards, not General. That said, I like the deck and turret platform-ish looking areas o -o /was never really a starwars fan

People need accounts to uplink and play on servers. Chances are someone saw one of your threads when he/she signed up and thought it was interesting, thus followed, then never came back 'cause hes/he never had to.

If we were to bar new features because of people having to refit their ships, we would never had gotten the new weapons. Game is still alpha so having to refit your ship every so often because of a new major update should be expected, as it's been done before with thrust and power changes...

I don't like tiers personally, as it would give a disadvantage to new players on a server, or old players that have recently changed servers. It's a kinda pointless edge to large or fast-advancing factions which would no doubt be abused to harass noobs on a server. But that's just my opinion...

Kinda a patchwork workaround, but you could save the sector with the export command, delete the planet to get at the ship, move it away and re-import the planet back onto that sector (once it has unloaded) and delete the trapped ship that'll come with the imported sector. The worse that could...

Then just build a shell. Even if we know were told how it works, we wouldn't be told the formulas as well (People like to nitpick about possibilities and theories before even having a chance to try it), so you couldn't really be able to build in advance anyways.

It is quite annoying, especially if you are using the pop-out chat. You'd suddenly be logged out mid-conversations sometimes, in the sense you could still see chat, but cant speak. Just throwing that out there.
