On another forum i was called to pick up someone with my time machine ... preferably a Delorian one ;)
so i did ;)
can later be found here -> http://starmadedock.net/content/delorian.2715/
No .. it mostlikely means you have to place those blocks new. There was a mapping problem that was fixed (if i got that right not entirely fixed)
and if you have placed blocks that have been affected by the bug they may now show up wrong (because they are now showing correctly and your...
To be honest ... i do not have the slowest possible internet access, but big pictures or animated gifs are a big annoyance at least when you are reading a forums thread.
The problem is that the texture mapping of these blocks have been misplaced in the first place and have been corrected in the latest patches.
(aside from a few that still are on the wrong side or in the wrong orientation and are in need of fixing)
Uh ... i didnt know about that ^^ thanks for the info.
Yes that would be worth a try until it is fixed
MAX_COORDINATE_BOOKMARKS = 20 //coordinate bookmarks per player allowed
that would be the line
there is no fix for that as of now.
I guess it is saved within the character information file on the servers data base. And that is not editable without risk of interference with the rest of the game .. sorry we have to wait for a bug fix on that.
Make sure 32 and 64 bit versions of Java are on the same update level.
I have had no problem with the game identifying the 64bit jre to run the game even with 32bit java installed
Go here -> https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
and grab both 32 and 64 bit manual install files and install them. Starmade then uses the 64 bit version and your browser is still free to use the 32 bit one.
but always make sure both are of the same version when an update comes around...
You do know that SMedit is not a part of Starmade?
Asking in the game support section may not yield any answer. :/
Is it importing any other file? if yes then i would suggest to search the problem with the hyperion obj file ?
Yellow are asteroid orbits and purple are planet orbits. on a purple orbit spawns one planet (except the 8 8 5 one that is always spaning).
orbits maybe empty (then they do not show a yellow or purple ring of course)
Because both are right .. kind off ;)
the Planet at 8 8 5 is either a bug or hardcoded
(i think its hardcoded to have at least one planet in system 0 0 0!)
Those are two Screens from 2 newly generated universes .. totally different .. except that 8 8 5 planet
that is because it lists the combined power of the ship and your base (you are not using any power capacitors so it is 2x 50K)
power capacitors increase the max power available. systems can otherwise easily draw more than 50K in one go.
Thrust/Mass ratio you can handle as you see fit ... but...
1. that is current energy / max energy capacity (energy recharge per second)
2. Thrust is given in mass (kind of) so 45 Thrust on a 450 Block (45 mass) ship would be 1:1 thrust ratio (maybe you have heared someone talk about recommendations on that ratio some where) ... the power con is the...
Looks nice ... from below the light blue glow is a bit to much for my taste. But other than that ... yes nice.
I do not have much stuff uploaded ... but if you need something feel free to use it. Its in the Community Content Section.
Corrupted game files maybe. (your screen shot is a liiiitle bit to small to see much ;) )
If you are not playing singleplayer (and are not still in need of the SP Universe then), just delete everything from your starmade install folder except the Blueprint one (if you did save any blueprints...
