-_- you how can you go through a 10 000 000 degree burning fireball for a few seconds without anything happening. nah i think that it should also do more damage when next to the star, I mean that's how it is in real life and would just add a small mechanic to keep away from stars

I mean the general terrain is slightly more sloped than it is now look at the video how the edges of the cookie planet are sloped, structures just generate on top, also the blocks that are at the planet edges could be allowed to intersect other planet blocks to make it more smoother.

For god's sake I thought your entire ships would burn/explode in a matter of seconds when chilling in the MIDDLE OF A STAR. I can just take a battlecruiser and wait 10 minutes until it actually overheats...Fighter craft should burn up into flames by just being around the star!

I think that each planet piece should be slightly smoothed to make the planet resemble more a sphere. From the image, you can see a dodecahedron perfectly fits in a sphere. Because of this, I think that it will be good to shape each planet segment in a way to fit the sphere frame as accurately...

Ah ok I'll add an idea! To make planets feel even more spherical they use a special kind of smoothing on each plate to make the planet look as much as a sphere as possible! as you see a sphere wrapped around a dodecahedron - each plate needs to just be slightly more smooth than it is now!
