Make your "view distance" to be between 500-1000 chunks. Turn off shadows, turn off space dust, reduce lighting down to 32 from 48 or 64. Hope that helps.

Sometimes these shells work. Got 3 to work, they were just sitting in my blueprints folder for a while, dunno what changed. Maybe it was an update that made it work, as in reinstalling starmade might of done something. Maybe I should try more, and see what process causes them to work exactly...

but no more lag than normal? Also, as long as your core seems to be more than 10-20 blocks away from the extended strip, the ship is not in gravity when you undock. Or, that's how it was when I tested back before the rails update. EDIT: as in, big ships with cores farther away from the dock...
