      Mechasquitos? Or biological giant mosquitos? I think a mix of both would be fun. As for inhibiting the infection? Weapons, big heavy weapons. (Finally, a use for detonators! Talk about bug-bombs!) but then again, some sort of inhibitor would be good for farming the beasties.

      A quick little docking suggestion that would help so much

      I would recommend not turning it off completely, but make it so that it doesn't register a collision at less than, say, half the server's maximum speed. That way, you won't inspire people covering their ships completely in rails to make their ships impervious to your torpedoes.

      Laughing as I type this, I agree, so I think custom sounds requested by the playerbase probably need to be implemented by the admin, so that desired sounds match the admin's "vision" for the server, just like Tobie suggested in post #2.       How about place a storage block, and then when slaved to the master storage block, it transforms into a full-size cargo block (random texture), ready to accept cargo? No new blocks required, and it kind-of makes sense, so it wouldn't be too hard for new players to figure out.

      Where is the community?

      I can't get any new players excited about StarMade. They keep returning back to RoboCraft for their build-and-fight fix. And generally people are lazy, so they aren't all that interested in spending a lot of timing building their own stuff. They generally want to be given something pretty easily...

      This would be neat, but is a rare edge case. We need in-game programmable AI, so you can tell it that there is a riser. I'm surprised that you cannot raise and lower on a rail in a docked entity. That would be an interesting addition. Players would enjoy making one of these:

      I would prefer a many-dirt-to-single crystal conversion. (E.g. 10,000 dirt yields a single crystal, to simulate the refining of tons of sediment to gather enough molecules of the crystal to build a sufficient inventory item of the stuff.)       Maybe re-use Wireless blocks (unlinked ones) so that they have a secondary function. This way, regular logic still works, and you don't need a new block type as an adapter.

      Maybe with certain combos, the weapon's behavior is further altered. (E.g. slower missile more susceptible to AMS/PD, slower turn rate, able to lose lock, lower damage, earlier detection, etc.) And of course, we need missile early warnings.

      Maybe the atmospheres could fade at a distance, so they aren't so... distracting. Or maybe make them very very small, to simulate the twinkle of a distant stellar body.
