Welcome to the forums, I've been seeing you guys around Elwyn for the past couple weeks or so. You guys are pretty active, best of luck to you, and if you need help, the Thryn can offer some assistance.
Cyba, with the faction permissions, you can set it so someone can't add or remove the blocks on the station. What I imagine happened was that they found the faction block and selected "remove faction signature" then edited the station however they pleased, but I thought only certain ranks could...
Even building is constructive for fighting. Anyone* can bring doomcubes* into battle, it takes a special kind of faction* to walk in with ships that look amazing* and tear* everyone* around* them* a* new* one*.

I wasn't ragging on it, anything within the game, even admin commands, are legitimate :P even if some people would consider is shady xD
I guess Thryn homebase turrets are ships on your radar, they're 250k mass and actually have a bit of thrust and could be fitted with jump drives :P
Sorry, I was just asking that because it seemed like your only two possible ways to get large ships. I almost never see members of yours on Elwyn, so your mining force is severely underpowered for taking on such a task, at least for how you describe the ships, and I guess you don't actually want...
Everyone else seems to want something universal between all servers at all times, I'm proposing something slightly in addition with petlahk, it would basically be classifying ships based on what other people have around you. Show up on a newb server with a 30k mass ship? Destroyer. Same ship on...
I think the best would be to have an in-server dynamic class system, possibly just by a combination of mass, shields and DPS. A server that has a lot of new players wouldn't be full of "Corvette"'s in their oppinion, those things are huge to them, they're "Battle-cruisers" and "Battleships." As...
Also, when you place down plex lights, I find that having a higher raytrace doesn't just make it look better for very little deficit, but it makes some areas brighter.
Also, just going to ask because I don't know if this is true or not, does space engineers have the same type of advanced build options we have, or should OP play SE? >_>
Quick tip to people who aren't in buildmode though, if your ship has shields but no lights, just use your pistol. The shield effect for where it hits can give you an idea of your surroundings.
