It is mostly linking the factories to the storages and the storages to the factories, than you link up some logic to control what's on and off. It is really that simple. Factory => Storage, Storage => Factory, Logic => Factory and/or Storage.

It's under Installation Settings up in options when you first open the game up but before the server menu. It is the first menu you run into where you can set installation and memory. Just change the install path to another folder and select Dev in the builds selection.
hmm sounds interesting. Maybe add modules to it for increasing or decreasing the strength it has and it's range. Also why not let the player activate Player Only things like the Cloaker, Jammer, Jump Drive, Scanner by remote on AI controlled ships? Would lead to some interesting things...
Working on my faction's HQ for experimentation on the station end of things, just need to finish the auto factory. :) Other than that it is ready for use in testing.
Not a clue when or what will be in the next build but we're expecting updates to Crew, Fleets, Quarters, Chairs, Heat Shields, etc at some point and not in any particular order. the update I'm waiting for is the crew and Fleets one but the devs do need player help at breaking things before they...
I'd say it'd be fun to do every so often. Why not get an organized group together for when the new patch comes out on it and basically execute the server by trying any number of legal ways to break the new build? :)
