      1, it probably isn't doing *damage* fast enough to salvage the block before the clock resets it and all of the *damage* has been lost. 2, this is inherent of how the game works and the opposite would be even more frustrating. Weapons and beams originating from an entity can not hit that entity.

      There are already server settings for this. If you're in singleplayer or own the server you can change the settings yourself. If you're on someone elses server, they may have already changed it to what they want.

      As people probably know already, I like flags. I like them a lot, but I don't really agree with this suggestion for two (probably dumb) reasons. Simple flags are good, and I don't think that beyond textures for blocks, we should have any more detail. There's something kind of nice about trying...

      Yeah, it's good but balanced on default, but on EE my turret can hit things from three sectors away, completely out of nav range. Scanners make it a bit less OP, but it's still hilarious xD

      The Thryn has something in the works like option C, servers that increase the range limit of weapons (EE) are very nice for this concept, as AI can hit anything that is loaded and in range now.       I think it could be interesting as a battle-server type thing. Only issue is that it would either be whitelisted and somewhat biased by the fact the moderators can't know about EVERY faction that has 5+ members, and what do you do about influential factions that are small? Euro-corp didn't have...
