it takes 5 seconds to lockon, plus the few seconds for the missile to hit. and if someone does notice the attacker, they are most likely toast as most alpha damage ships have relatively low shielding for their size.
This alpha damage thing is no problem to me and is just another tactic, since your ship has to have lots of power capacity so it balances out that way.
my solution: make swarmers target the nearest heat signature (like they would in real life). thus one could undock a core or two to distract...

I think that the 12x mining bonus you get when mining in your own system should apply when mining in foreign systems claimed by other players. This will cause people to try to sneak in to others systems and could make it so that wars and fights occur more often with actual reasoning behind them...
Stop effect was nerfed quite a while ago so that you couldn't stop a capital ship with a 3 block weapon. However today I feel like making one that can at least do a decent amount of stoppage to a ship. How does it work exactly, like what is the stop effect doing? Because as far as I have tested...
