Of course a navy would not leave a ship fully undefended. Unlike you, i actually have been on a navy warship. And they do not abandon it, they leave around 20 people on board the ship. Around 20 armed and fully grown men and women. I doubt that a 12 year old could fight all of them.

Your ship may be blown to pieces if you dont aim your ship and the projectile properely Crimson-Artist, but it is possible to make something like that work.

Sometimes they fall of regardless to the docking size being too small.
