One thing that has almost driven me from this game is that I can be killed, without warning, from completely different sectors. I'd like to see a block that increases the radar range to help prevent this, maybe even with the ability to detect the mass of radar entities. I don't think I can take much more losing of ships I have poured hours of time into to something that I didnt even see or receive any warning of danger from.
An alternative is creating a server config that limits ship mass. If I can't be allowed to detect a giant deathstar in the next sector, then I at least want to know servers exist that don't allow them.
