Huh autoupdate not working?

Kind of, but no. A mercenary can quit and works on a contract. These proxy factions are likely required/obligated to fight for IL or IL demands tribute or something. I haven't looked into it myself though so I can't confirm 100%.
As arti said, pretty much anything can be a drone. Although when it comes to drones I'd say it's too big, since drones are a quantity thing and are more effective if you can spam tens or hundreds of them with minimal impact to resources.
Vaygr design aesthics gives too much away for functionality I tend to find, still the colour schemes are definitely similar.
Nice work OP, do you have any interior shots as well? Or is it just a tunnel to the core?
Find your starmade directory, if you installed via steam that's drive/users/user/steamlibrary/common/starmade .
Now you have to find the file "blacklist.txt" Just delete it, this is sp only anyway. The game will make a new empty one when you next launch it.
And that should fix your issue.
Updates happen when schine feels they are ready to release it, typically not a moment before.
I think the dev build might still have a few release blocking bugs but I haven't exactly checked the tracker recently. Today is as about as likely as tomorrow, or the day after or maybe the day after...
Reading that, this is as close as I can really get as far as I can see. Although I might be wrong. (My mock up is kind of shoddy so ignore that.)
EDIT: The only other method I can see would be to offset heptas by one block on the x-axis. Like so. Which gives the illusion that it's coming...
Typically you would have heptas in there but that would cause the two structures to more mold together, which im not sure you want. That and you would end up with little ledges atop of those which kind of disrupts the shape. Otherwise I THINK having hepta then a normal block could also work...
Breakoff already exists, however it is buggy as hell and thus is disabled by default. Wait for a later update to fix that and then you'll have it as an option at least.

Inside the starmade directory, the file called "gameconfig" holds the items and credits one starts with when they first play.
Instructions are also within that file (as comments.)
Find the starmade folder.
typically under /users/(name)/steamlibrary/steamapps/common/starmade/starmade/
in that folder find the file "blacklist" I think it is. If someone is banned they are added to the blacklist.
EDIT: posted too soon, next step. Remove name from blacklist, save the file and...
