A creative building game would not include flight or ship combat mechanics. Really Snk, you should know better.

Not just your settings, they don't to random patrols, though they still send out raids to nearby players to their bases. OP: minecraft is not just a creative building game.

You can create npc factions, they just don't do anything really yet.

Make an admin alt for each one, promote him to leader via command, and uncheck the public faction check box.

There was previously a way to do it from the core as long as you memorized a couple of container coords. The new system of naming and a better drop down is amazing though.
