      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

So your scout frigate is over 100K mass? Does a titan of yours take up five sectors or something? :p

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

All the flowcharts have been added. Damn, that took some time.

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

The flowchart for the ships is coming along nicely. I'll likely change some of the mass requirements to be larger soon. Expect Planetoids/Star Carriers to become 500|000 and upwards. @Ithirahad I'll take the suggestion into consideration. What exactly is a "listening post"? Shops are accounted...

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

I just added another poll option. Still working on the ship flowchart, after that I'll make a listing of all the classifications and descriptions for each class, so that you can easily look things up. EDIT: I do want to ask people to post an explanation in the thread if they think a certain...

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

Assuming you're talking about the flowcharts, I've spent most of the day on those so far. Making them for the ships will be time-consuming...

      CC-BY licensing ships and palettes?

Ah, sure. I didn't know that those fonts were public domain. If they are, they're not owned by anyone, which makes it different. Agra Axera is owned by Andrew McCluskey (Not the musician), and any derivative works (such as a StarMade font based on it) would still be his. However, if you...

      CC-BY licensing ships and palettes?

Licensing recreations somehow seems... wrong to me. I mean, I have been awarded full commercial rights to a font called Agra Axera, and even I wouldn't dare to license it any differently than including it under Agra Axera's default license if I recreated it in StarMade. After all, it's still...

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

@TwoNiner Well, they're somewhere in there, I just needed it to be more detailed. I'll post the flowchart and a listing of all the classes tomorrow, so things will become more clear.

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

@CyberTao That's a good idea. I'll do that tomorrow, since it's evening here.

      Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything

Welcome to my thread, where I present to you the following: Gamesaucer's Classification for Everything or simply ClEver (Please tell me if the name's too cheesy) As you may or may not know, I've pulled a ship classification out of my pocket once already. It's still on the old site and grossly...

      Minelayers-Where did they go?

Touchching does imply physicality, but what you really need to consider is this: to what extent is it physical? Does it need to be affected by pull/push beams? How about damage-dealing things? Do they attract heatseekers? Or do they simply explode if whatever touches them? I can't wait to find...

      Hull colors: Would this work?

I'm not sure what that'd do besides making things complicated. The same amount of information would still need to be stored but now it's at the cost of computing power instead of memory. At least, if I understood you correctly.

      Ennead Corporation Ships

I did some more work on the ECSV Anti.

      Ennead Corporation Ships

I've combined some of the interiors into two out of the four decks of the ECSV Anti, a Cruising Frigate and civilian ship. These are the passenger decks, the crew decks (smaller portion) still need to be designed and built. Also, yeah, I got two Anhurs in the background.

      Ennead Corporation Ships

Currently building the interior for a civilian Ennead ship. It has automatic lights, that turn off about 15 seconds after movement was last detected. :D

The motion tracking thing popped into my head as well... I can use that + an RS-nor latch to power my lights. They'd turn off if no movement is detected for a while. The way to build it eluded me, though. Thanks!

Dang, my phone decided it'd be a good idea to suddenly turn off while typing this message. Let's try again. I'm sorry to say that I can't make any sense of the way you're denoting circuitry. I do however understand the point you are trying to get across. Unfortunately, it's unsuitable. If...

      Introduction thread!

Hi, I am gamesaucer. You can also call me Kay if that's what you prefer. I play StarMade creatively. I want to build good things, nice-looking things, things in general and even things that can't really be considered things. I play a lot of games. I play most creatively, like I do StarMade...
