StarMade v0.199.234 - More Logic, New Effects, and Radial Menu

What do the sensor check when connected to thrusters? Thrusters weren't mentioned in the newspost, but still something triggers sensors. From my testing it's not acceleration and not the actual server speed, but more of a fixed speed around 250m/s = 100% Can anybody confirm that?

Trinova Technologies: Join Today! (NFD-Trident Industries merger)

I and many other non-trinova-members are on NFDB like all the time and nobody has seen any "staged vaygr attack" there, but I've heared from other peoeple on TAW that the battle took actually place on said TAW server. Also many missiles like lock-ons and especially swarmers do circle around the...

      Kupu's thread

Yes please. Non-colliding water for low-energy forcefields we can walk through and such :D. Really nice work so far, kupu ! Can't wait to see what happens to the wood block, because now it looks pretty weird...

      Dev stuff

it doesn't scale in the z-axis if you mean that, but due to the nature that the plumes are now big glowing clouds they look as one, when the thrusters are grouped

      Dev stuff

As far as I have understood it, the sensor may work like that: if you have it hooked up to your thrusters, the sensor will give an logic signal when you move or get to a certain speed. Or if you have it hooked up to a weapon, it will give a logic signal when the weapon is reloaded, or 50%...

      Dev stuff

Saber mentioned the sensors in the tuesday stream. the basic idea behind them is, that they emit a logic signal when triggerd. That could be speed (e.g. to deploy wings or so at a certain speed), weapons reloaded or stuff like that.

Allow Decorative blocks to be slabbed

a bit of a necro-posting, but my suggestion is quite similiar: Make planetary slab blocks I'm talking about these blocks right here: I personally use many of them as decorative elements on my ships and having those blocks as slabs (especially stuff like wood, ice and the crystals) would come...

      Tutorial on logic-fired weapons?

I'm not concerened about the cargo, but the AI aiming. As long as AI only targets the nav markers, even when there's no more blocks to harvest, mining turrets won't be effective at all

      Tutorial on logic-fired weapons?

that way you can also do (limited) mining turrets. make a turret with a small non-damaging weapon (I prefer a stop beam), and hook a salvaging array on that turret to a clock. Downside: cargo doesn't transfer down docked entities and the AI only targets asteroid's nav markers, so you have to...

      Fuel and Ammo

Seems to me like you described the weapon and engine system from the game "From the Depths". As far as I enjoy the complexity of those systems in FtD, I personally don't think that this mechanics should be implimented into SM. StarMade's complexity lies in other areas than creating complex...

Rail rotators - turn in direction of the rail-slave

or just let us press 'r' on a rotator and we can enter the amount of rotation manually. Maybe even with a nice sliderbar or so

      Task specific radar masks.

I like the general idea, but I'd prefer to have the ability to make custom navigation profiles instead of pre-determined settings. Like Lecic, I don't really use turrets or docked nav markers either. Also a setting to toggle enemy/allied/neutral, e.g. ship markers are only shown for enemies...
