      depends on what you need. If you simply wanna have a higher power regen, then yes, you can have them always on. But if you just need some back-up or one-time extra power boost, e.g. for just launching one heavy missile, then you can have them toggled off

      Eventhough the server performance is potato level, I personally like the fact that there's like always someone else online and you can help each other and so on. I'd take NFDB over singleplayer everytime. :)

      the point of internal armor is that you don't have the aux. power system in one giant block, but in serveral armored chunks, so one explosion doesn't affect the others

      I love those Mechsuits you have there Dr. Whammy I have two other vehicles, based on the tank chassis, an AA-tank and an APC and there's also a missile truck All with fitting interiors, proper head- and rear lights and all sorts of detail :D

      Maybe the ship based respawn 'rebuilds' us with just like 1/3 of our health and is a one-time use only (it would need to be re-adjusted at a shop or so after every spawn)

      If that's what you want, you can already do that with gravity. Just place a gravity module upside-down and you'll fly upwards, when you activate it. Via logic gates and such you could manouver along pipe systems.

      I think the main reason why these buildings are used is, that everyone knows or at least can imagine the scale of them. I personally wouldn't have a proper scale in mind when looking at an aircraft carrier or other ships.
