Just a random idea regarding the rts controls:
Bind them in with the planned Capitalship mechanics aka. having a block on your capitalship that allows access to the rts controls, like a tactic console of some sort
the game "From the depths" has besides the normal controls RTS style controls available for fleet movement and it works pretty good.
I can see something like that could work pretty well in Starmade
That bothered me aswell.
Also the already mentioned server blocks are.. well I'm not quite sure. Not really too busy, but the fact that it's the only decorative computer/screen thingy without a full frame, just the two lines at each side make it stand out quite a bit
A big issue would be that it makes ships have unlimited cargo space. Your miner has a full inventory? just dump it all into your shopmodule and off you go.
So I suggest Ship-shops need to have cargospace available.
the local dedicated server takes your singleplayer settings. If you wanna tweak stuff take a look at the server.cfg file in the starmade directory (simply open with notepad or something).

Same with the conduit block.
They were rotatable in one version, but it messed up existing builds becaue they had random rotation suddenly, thus why they have "fixed" them back to non-rotatable
