No way. This could work, but fighters and smaller vessels will become more then useless with that. Also, turrets with more weaponry will make capitals even easier to handle. I'm fine by the current system of independent shielding.

That's one of the reasons of why I'm not getting found of Starmade anymore right there. Despite having an OK PC to play recent AAA titles smoothly, I can't handle those goddamm bricks at Starmade.

Sorry, but no. It was a great step forward when the new shielding system was implemented, making shields breakable even on big ones. Don't want the invulnerable shielding back.

I disagree. Unfortunately, this is the reason of Starmade's lack of growth - Multiple deserted servers for a player base that is too little, and there is little appeal for new players going there. Starmade's potential lies on a galaxy of varieties made by multiple players, but however, no server...

PD - Acronym for "Point Defense" - Used by some players to refer to mounted cannon turrets that has it's Bobby AI set to shoot only at incomming enemy missiles.
