Your Stargate ships are amazing. Thanks for sharing all those screenshots with us! I can only wonder how much effort you need to build such ships. Wish I could, in the future, see your talent invested on some of those Earth Alliances ship from Babylon 5.... =)
Hey, folks!
Since I was a bit unsure about how all this ship customization would end, I decided to try some simple image editing "magic".
This is how it turned out. To check out what Thadius Faran said "Isn't it just a Golem with tilted wings now though?" I'm uploading one image I found of it...
Hum... not sure. To tell you the truth, I actually never owned a Golem in game; old or newer. Until recently I even thought it was just a reskin of the Raven. Thanks to your link (EVE_NT Ship Editor) I was able to take a closer look and found out how that the "Siege Mode" really looks like...
Ok... I went ahead and this was the result....
The "Horus" class Heavy Battleship.
I thought it was a fitting name for the "God of the Sky and Heavens"... I must say I'm quite happy with the result. From some angles it remind me of one of the coolest ship I have ever seen: The "Shadow...
Hello all!
The beauty of Starmade is that you can do whatever you want... As you probably know by the posts above, I'm building a replica of the Caldari Raven. So far I've kept it as close to the original as I can, making minor angles and color adjustments to fit starmade limitations... But for...
Hello!
Just a quick update. I know It's been a while... I got entangled with Fallout 4 and vacation ended. I will go back to this project and will soon post updates.
Cheers =)
Yo!
Done a lot of wedging today. Had to change some angles to match the block combinations we have available in StarMade, but I think we are still keeping-up with the original ship. Some crazy angles where challenging. Almost finished with the main body, but there's also a lot of armor plate...
Hey.
Here's the new progress update:
Finished some more exterior armor and added a "golem like"siege mode to open the torpedo bays; I decided to arm it with four forward facing (dumb/siege) torpedoes and six vertically launched cruise (homming/anti-ship) missiles, plus some machine gun...
This is tonight progress...
May not seem much, but reshaping the "head"was quite a challenge. Also, I found out that some of the symmetrical parts where offset on one side and I'm having to correct that; this can be hard while working on weird angles, like on it's "chest" cavities.
Here are...
Well Actually no. It's been like 5 years. I do know they have newer models and stuff, but with wife/kids I barely have any time at all... The last time I had to change a diaper I lost a battleship =(
Thanks for the tip about NT Ship Editor. I will take a look at it.
Cheers.
OMG MAN!!! Those turrets are amazing, all of them! Do you work in the Defense Sector or something?
Your work is incredibly believable, looks like those things are real Navy prototypes.
