It's more than the rail update, it's the whole kit kaboodle, docking is being redone from the ground up. IMO, this is why it's been put on priority, because people are sick of the current docking system. Dear god, these can't come quick enough...this is, IMO, the biggest issue with capitals V...

I say it's needlessly complex because we're used to being able to make shots go through. Imagine, literally almost all ships (especially popular ships) will have to be redone right from the ground up. And is there really that much of a benefit? Realism doesn't fit into this game that much...
