      lasers are already in the game though, just add a support type beam and loop it via logic. As for cruise control, again there is logic and systems to achieve this, as well as plans for improvements (eventually) to the nav menu to autopilot to destinations.

      Actually, this is a good suggestion, something i hadnt even considered yet (since the custom sector size is relatively new) there is already a setting for planets, a similar one for the asteroid feilds is just logical, count/size and frequency settings, thanks for the input :D

      I've actually thought of this as well (albeit not with the "dungeoneering" fights vs npc's aspect) just the modular stations, as others have im sure, its a great idea, and I HAVE suggested modular stations to schema in the past, so we'll see what comes of it, thats the best i can say for now.
