Its a problem for me. It must be a problem with the way blueprints are saved from Starmade because when i imported it, The orientation was far off from the center of the axis. If you need, i can send you a blueprint file as an example.
I like them^. But mine were exported using smedit and then rendered in blender and edited using photoshopping. Blender gives some nice shadows and dof etc.
For the past few days I've had no internet and got bored...So I made wallpapers! They arent proffesional but i like them.
Edit: Hmm Didnt upload them full size... but what do you think?
Okay, i found a UV map, but it was extremely small and wouldn\'t scale up... here have a picture of it. http://s1300.photobucket.com/user/shasoos/media/Untitled_zpsb98c4d07.png.html
I did a quick export with blender, then imported again and the vertices stayed the same.
And might i ask, how are the textures mapped to the model? because the only way i found to add them to the model is by using the textures and creating a UV map.
After importing my ship model from SMedit into blender, i discovered there was a ton of double vertices. The model went from 30,000 vertices to 2,000 just by removing them, and it made the model more pretty.
I have tested this on a server and it does indeed remove the blocks client side. I was able to delete up to 200x200x200 on my friends server through this method. It is indeed very useful but for griefing...it is very recommended to provide a fix for this.
He said that it was docked, he went off on an adventure and came back and his ship won\'t dock without a message or error. And i can confirm this is indeed a bug, I usually have to restart just to be able to dock a plain ship core onto a dock i made for a battleship.
Can we have a option to only use wedge blocks when smoothing? For me, the corners get placed in entirely the wrong places and make my ship look bad, so i would rather place them myself.
On a different note, I absolutely love this tool.
Hey guys,
This ship is my first larger build but im quite proud of it. It has pretty weak shielding and weapons but I'd like to see what you guys can do with it.
Specifications:
Mass: 17015

Okay, this is a bug in starmade but there is a fix.
Go into the starmade folder and then to the blueprints folder. Find the folder with the name of your blueprint and copy that name. Then go inside that folder and then into data. There should be 1 or more files with heaps of jumbled letters in...
