Help!!! Docking a large ship.

So I built a 125m long ship in a dock with plenty of room for it, and flew off to other adventures.

When I came back, I was unable to dock it. No errors or warnings, it just won't go in in any configuration.

Any tips, or do I have to keep spamming?

SUCKS!!!!! It makes NO SENSE whats so ever. No matter how I place the enhancers the docking area is never right. Get the right height and try to widen it then it changes the length, This is Totally bullshit. PLEASE FIX THIS F>>>ING PROBLEM!!!

Hi,

The docking system works almost perfectly for me; and I have a space station (with turrets and ship docking) and a large planet eater (with a very large number of turrets, and ship docking). The only problem I can see is the orientation of the docked ships/turrets (e.g. turrets/ships docked on the underside will face towards the back of the station/ship rather than the front; and there\'s no player control over orientation).

Note: The formula for docking area width/height/length is \"size = enhancers * 2 + 7\" (or \"enhancers = (size - 7) * 2\" if you want). This formula works in all (x, y and z) directions and allows you to calculate the number of enhancers you need for a certain docking area. For example, if you want a 11*13*15 docking area you\'d need 2*3*4 box (or frame) of enhancers.

Some people still do the silliest mistake of thinking docking module counts as docking enhancer... If you make a cross of enhancers in 3 directions, you can\'t have the docking module be the center of it. (Docking enhancers are connected to docking module same way as antimatter cannons are connected to its computer.)

Give screenshots of the ship that supposedly fits the dock, showing the build-mode size frames, and good view of all docking enhancers.

He said that it was docked, he went off on an adventure and came back and his ship won\'t dock without a message or error. And i can confirm this is indeed a bug, I usually have to restart just to be able to dock a plain ship core onto a dock i made for a battleship.
