In the wake of power 2.0, the key members of LAS, myself and Calhoun have lost all motivation to continue playing this game, Power 2.0 was not wanted by a vast majority of what is left of this community, yet in spite of this Schine pushed a broken update that destroyed any balance this game had left, introduced dozens of new exploits and stripped away any ability for competitive vessels to look like ships.
20 minutes ago, Calhoun and myself have made an executive decision about the future of LAS in StarMade.

The decision follows:
- Effective immediately, all operations on all StarMade servers, regardless of the version they are running are suspended indefinitely. All infrastructure are to be mothballed, all workers and soldiers are to return to their homeworlds, all spies are recalled from their posts, all defectors are released from their debts.
- LAS will no longer support StarMade, its development and its community, I (RedAlert) will likely be resigning my position as community mentor in the coming days however I am still weighing my options.
- LAS member contributions to community projects (Concords End and similar) will continue until the project is completed or the project leader cancels/suspends the project.
- Active declarations of war and kill on sight orders will remain in effect.
- LAS may return to StarMade if change occurs for the better, however knowing Schine, this is unlikely.

Most of LAS leadership has moved on from StarMade to better things.

Some my chose to stay with this game and see to its dying wishes, but LAS looks to new battlefields in lands not far off from here. We leave a trail of breadcrumbs for those to follow.
It is not too late to break free from the escalation of commitment that keeps you shackled to this game, unwilling to move on.
